No 1: Applications of Reflective Products on Animals
The reflective material can reflect the Far away direct light back to the bright place, and has good retro-reflective optical performance no matter the day or night. The advent of reflective materials has successfully solved the security problem of “seeing” and “not being seen” overnight. Recently, police from an area in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region dug deep along national highway 331 in border rural areas to help shepherds wear reflective leg straps for camels to prevent traffic accidents when large animals cross the road at night. More and more animals, not just camels, have used a variety of reflective materials and products to reduce the possibility of unintentional injury to small animals at night. There are thousands of car accidents caused by reindeer in Finland every year. Local shepherds spray reflective paint on the antlers to protect deers and people, and when the vehicle light reflects on the horns, even on the street without streetlights at night, the horns are visible thanks to the reflective spray on them to remind the driver to slow down.
